1. Scope
This policy applies to the SiteReady Chrome extension. The extension's data practices are separate from the EasyTool.me website. Visiting this policy page is governed by the EasyTool.me website privacy policy, including its consent-controlled website analytics and advertising disclosures. Those website services are not embedded in the SiteReady extension.
2. Data handled by the extension
When you explicitly start a scan, SiteReady temporarily reads the user-selected active page's URL, title, DOM structure, short relevant HTML fragments, accessibility properties, image, link and form metadata, and basic document counts. This processing is necessary to identify launch issues, calculate a score, highlight affected elements, and generate reports and repair prompts.
Before any page metadata or content is handled for the first time, SiteReady displays a prominent in-product disclosure and requires you to choose Agree and continue. A scan starts only after you separately choose Start check.
3. Sensitive-content protections
SiteReady does not intentionally read or save entered form values. Before a finding snippet is saved, copied, or exported, SiteReady redacts form value attributes, textarea and editable-region contents, likely authentication, session or token attributes, and likely secret URL parameters. Automated redaction cannot guarantee that arbitrary page markup contains no personal or confidential data. Review copied or exported content before sharing it.
4. Local storage and retention
- If scan history is enabled, the report URL, title, timestamp, score, metrics, findings, selectors, and truncated, redacted finding snippets are stored in
chrome.storage.local. - Free history is limited to 10 reports and Pro history to 50. Older reports are removed when the applicable limit is exceeded.
- Settings and an activated license are stored locally. A license payload may contain an email address if the seller included one while issuing it.
- When the toolbar icon is clicked, only the selected tab ID, window ID, and click time are stored temporarily in
chrome.storage.session. The page URL and title are not stored there. - You can disable future history, delete individual reports, clear all local history, deactivate a license, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension.
5. Collection, transfer, sale, and sharing
SiteReady version 0.1.0 has no developer-operated backend. The extension does not upload page content, reports, URLs, browsing history, settings, form data, license keys, or license email addresses. It contains no analytics, advertising tracker, cookie, or remotely hosted executable code. It does not sell or share user data.
The bundled accessibility engine is configured not to preload or request external stylesheets. SiteReady does not initiate external HTTP status checks. Content leaves the extension only when you intentionally copy, download, or share a report or prompt.
SiteReady uses website content and browsing activity only for the user-facing active-page checking, reporting, element-location, and repair-prompt features. It does not use this data for advertising, creditworthiness, profiling, or unrelated purposes, and it does not permit developer or third-party human access to it.
6. Security
SiteReady requests only the Chrome permissions needed for its current features. Page access is temporary and user-initiated through Chrome's activeTab permission. Stored snippets are limited and redacted. Offline Pro licenses use an Ed25519 signature to resist forgery; this signature verifies the license but does not encrypt its payload.
7. Children, changes, and privacy requests
SiteReady is a developer utility and is not directed to children. Material changes will be shown by updating this page and its effective date. Privacy rights vary by location and nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
For access, deletion, correction, or other privacy questions, email [email protected]. Because extension data is not transmitted to the developer, most deletion requests can be completed immediately by clearing history or extension storage in Chrome.
8. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
